The Motorola V3 sets a new standard for style. This thin aluminium phone doesn't lack features either.

The V3 has two colour screens - one internal, one external. The external colour screen has a resolution of 96 x 80 with 4k colours. The internal screen of the Motorola V3 is a superb 176 x 220 pixel 256k colour TFT display which is one of the best on the market. The phone has a picture phonebook of up to 1000 entries.

The Motorola V3 has an integrated VGA digital camera with a resolution of 640 x 480 and 4X digital zoom. Video playback is supported (MPEG4 + sound). Local connectivity is by Bluetooth or mini USB hub. Internal memory of the V3 is 5MB.

Other features of the Motorola V3 include GPRS, WAP, vbration alert.

Motorola V3 Opinion

The few drawbacks of this Motorola are the lack of video recording, the low resolution of the integrated camera and the absence of infra-red. However the other features and style bestowed by the V3 more than make up for this.

Still quite expensive.
