Our Mission
Our Company Mission is to be the clear leading retailer of built-in kitchen
appliances and to constantly deliver new levels of customer care.
Company History
Established in 1988, Trade Appliances began with a showroom in Nottingham.
Building on local success a second showroom was opened in Derby. We have now
become a well known name throughout the Midlands and pride ourselves on the
amount of returning customers and recommendations we get. We launched
www.trade-appliances in December 1999 and a dedicated team was established
shortly afterwards.
New Warehouse & Distribution Centre
We recently acquired a huge 30,000sq ft warehouse facility. We have also set
up a new distribution centre including our own delivery vehicles to cope with
the increasing demands for our products. This enables us to stock more of our
core items meaning shorter lead times for delivery and enabling us to improve
our customer service levels still further.
Award Winners
We also scooped the e-trading category and came runner up in the e-business
category at the Midlands Region e-commerce Awards, which took place at the Pera
Innovation Centre in July 2002.
The E-commerce Awards are sponsored by the
Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Cisco Systems and aim to celebrate and reward
those small and medium sized businesses throughout the UK that are successfully
exploiting e-commerce, new technologies or the Internet to improve and transform
their operation. Set up by UK online for business with InterForum, the Awards
continue to make their mark in the small business sector (those with fewer than
250 employees).
